After settling back into his role after his resurrection, the first official business of Baron Barnabas was setting up a meeting with the emissaries of Brno, their oldest ally. The invited inlude the new Baron of Brno, Vincenzo Petrucci, the successor to one Antonio Rosso, who died unexpectedly in Pressburg during the resurrection of Baron Barnabas. It would seem that, so far, everyone is keen on maintaining peace.
The mood is tense, the nights are short, and there is much to be discussed. The negotiations with Brno provide many opportunities to strike deals, forge alliances and even find love.
What is Larp?
“Unfortunately, no one can be told what the LARP is. You have to see it for yourself.”
Live Action Role-Playing, or LARP for short, is a collaborative storytelling event where every participant embodies a character in a shared world. For a set time, the players try to achieve their character’s goals using the mechanics and rules of the universe. Their struggles, triumphs, alliances and betrayals together form a story of that specific LARP, and the consequences of their actions resonate throughout the shared universe of that LARP.
What to expect from our LARP
Dark Pressburg is also the name of the setting of our LARP – dark, twisted version of modern day Bratislava, where ever-hungry vampires secretly roaming the night are the least of your problems. Politics and prophecies, cartels and blood feuds, the streets of Pressburg often turn into a battlefield where every choice you make has lasting consequences.
With new players in mind, our world is inspired by Vampire the Masquerade (VtM), but we try to make our rules simple and easy to grasp. Topic-wise, we have dark themes and topics, although we believe it’s milder than your average VtM larp.
