“Unfortunately, no one can be told what the LARP is. You have to see it for yourself.”
Live Action Role-Playing, or LARP for short, is a collaborative storytelling event where every participant embodies a character in a shared world. For a set time, the players try to achieve their character’s goals using the mechanics and rules of the universe. Their struggles, triumphs, alliances and betrayals together form a story of that specific LARP, and the consequences of their actions resonate throughout the shared universe of that LARP.
Your costume can be as mundane or extravagant as you see fit for your character! Since we’re playing in a modern setting, even everyday clothes can fit your character. Just because you’ve been Embraced / turned into a vampire, that doesn’t mean you automatically received an entirely new wardrobe! If you need some inspiration, join our Discord or contact us.

But Dark Pressburg is also the name of the setting of our LARP
We are mainly a social LARP. Therefore, our fights are determined based on your character’s combat score. You don’t engage in real fighting unless you agree upon a predetermined scene with another player. To learn more about this, check out our Rules.
So the LARP – the major scenes will be played in English as long as there are non-Slovak speaking players. If there aren’t any non-Slovak speakers as far as small scenes between players go, your character knows the languages you as a player know, so feel free to speak any language you choose in 1 on 1 and small scenes.
